Before you start

Can I start with no German at all?

Yes. Lesson 1 explains your first greeting and introduction in English before you try the practice checks. You can skip the level check and begin here.

Can I learn from India?

Yes. Study in your browser at your own pace. The lessons include examples such as Ich komme aus Indien and Ich wohne in Pune. Change the examples to match your own life.

Do I need to sign up?

No account or payment is needed for these lessons. Practice checks stay on this page and reset when you reload. They do not change your account progress or assess your language level.

What should I learn after these lessons?

Continue with nouns and der, die, das, try the introductions conversation, or follow the wider A1–B2 study roadmap.
